Established for over thirty years Shape Accredited Training Centre (Shape) is the training arm of Cleveland Youth Association. Head Office is based on the outskirts of Middlesbrough. Shape Training provides a range of well-established and flexible training packages to meet both employers and learners needs.

Working closely with local employers, agencies, schools, colleges and educational advisors, Shape employs in the region of 40 specialist staff to assist people of all ages into training and to prepare them for the workplace. Since Shape has been established the company has helped numerous people from all age groups, to gain employment and to achieve qualifications.

The changing world of work and business makes many demands on both employers and their staff. Shape offers businesses the opportunity to update and develop the skills of their workforce. For successive years, Shape has introduced new courses and will continue to do so to keep pace with trends in both technology and working practices.

For many young people the opportunity to learn new skills, obtain qualifications and gain confidence is enough to set them on the road to self-employment or employment. For mature people, enhancing their own skills and experience or acquiring new knowledge gives them the opportunity to reach their own career goals.
